Art in Place: Aida Jones Installations in Stunning Spaces

Transforming this stunning dining room was a true collaborative effort! The beautifully designed space is the work of the talented Idea Space team of architects and interior designers. I had the privilege of contributing to the room with my painting, which was thoughtfully integrated into their vision. Grateful to have been part of this creative journey!

Installation at Restaurant Lorena’s — Aida Jones has been collaborating with Restaurant Lorena’s since 2016, designing bespoke artwork that reflects the elegance and seasonal inspiration of Chef Campos’s haute cuisine. Paired with owner Lorena’s incredible sense of design and her impeccable eye for atmosphere, the art becomes a seamless extension of the restaurant’s refined culinary and aesthetic philosophy.

The latest additions to Restaurant Lorena’s, these bespoke paintings were installed in 2024, continuing the artistic collaboration with Aida Jones. These works embody a refined and ethereal aesthetic, perfectly complementing the restaurant’s elegant ambiance.

Installation at Restaurant Lorena’s — This installation at Restaurant Lorena’s captures the glow of the pendant lamps, which is subtly mirrored in the painting’s luminous tones. The square lines of the large rectangular light fixture find their reflection in the structured elements of the artwork, creating a harmonious dialogue between the space and the piece.

This 60" x 48" piece was designed to bring depth and warmth to the formal dining room at Restaurant Lorena’s. I wanted to create a work that feels both striking and harmonious, with layered textures and rich tones that echo the refined atmosphere of the space.

Here’s an example of another installation at Lorena’s, where the warm tones and layered textures of this piece bring harmony and depth to both the bar and dining areas.

Maker and Muse Gallery

Rendezvous (40” x 40”) from the Color in Rhapsody series, installed in a Maplewood residence. This vibrant piece brings energy and harmony to the space, perfectly complementing the surrounding warmth and textures.

The canvas, titled Euphoria, shown here, brings a vibrant energy to the space. Its playful shapes and bold colors beautifully mirror the organic flow of the surrounding greenery.
